I considered myself shy and not the most talkative person IRL, especially with boys around my age. I don't talk to them much in middle school but still, I get to talk with them. Then one year in all girl high school made boys even more complicated for me. In my last year of high school, in which I move to co-ed school, I do talk with a couple on regular basis and they're nice guys but that's it. Outside of school, the only boys I talked to are my bro, first cousins and the son of my 'Auntie' a very good family friend of ours. My experience in socialising with my peers IRL is very few, moreover with boys. So if I can talk in a long time with a guy, it means a lot to me.
